Our Programs
Front Rangers Junior Cycling is committed to fostering healthy habits in youth, developing self-confidence, cultivating leadership, and building a sense of community in a welcoming environment. Our goal is to introduce young riders to various aspects of mountain biking, including Enduro, XC, and bike racing, while helping them connect with nature and develop a lifelong passion for outdoor adventure.
Goals of the Group
- Prioritize Fun: We believe that enjoyment should come first, so every ride and event is designed to be exciting and full of opportunity.
- Build Fundamental Bike Handling Skills: We focus on developing core cycling techniques that set riders up for success on any trail.
- Foster a Sense of Community Among Riders: Riders are encouraged to support one another, building lasting friendships and a strong sense of camaraderie.
- Support Riders of All Ability Levels: Whether you’re just starting out or have more experience, our program is designed to accommodate riders of all skills.
- Empower Youth: Our program helps instill healthy habits and a deep love for the outdoors, giving young athletes the tools to succeed both on and off the bike.
- Create an Inclusive Environment: Diversity in ethnicity, gender, financial status, and skill level is encouraged, ensuring everyone feels welcomed and supported.
What you need
- Bike with hand brakes and gears
- Helmet for safety.
- A backpack or hip pack with room for water and snacks.
- Tools for fixing a flat, including your own tube.
- MTB-specific multitool for quick adjustments.
- Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
- Riding gloves and eye protection (optional but recommended for safety).
